Sin duda 2013 ha sido un gran año para el combativo gladiador japonés Daisuke Sekimoto. El actual poseedor del BJW Strong World Heavyweight Title se convirtió en el invitado obligado a los grandes eventos de empresas como Pro Wrestling Zero1, Legend the Pro-Wrestling, Osaka Pro Wrestling, Tenryu Project, DDT, Kaientai Dojo, Wrestle-1, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), Westside Xtreme Wrestling y Pro Wrestling NOAH; interviniendo en un total de 141 encuentros.

Con 9 defensas exitosas de su cinturón, (incluyendo una contra su propio compañero Yuji Okabayashi), Sekimoto se ha afianzado como el luchador representativo de BJW, motivo por el que se hizo merecedor a la distinción del Fighting Spirit Award. El video muestra la lucha en la cual superó a Manabu Soya de AJPW para devolver el BJW Strong World Heavyweight Title a casa.
