Este martes, durante la WrestleMania Week, se realizó la ceremonia del Salón de la Fama de WWE, donde se exaltaron a las generaciones 2020 y 2021.
El evento de este año fue muy diferente a todos los que normalmente se hacen pues las participaciones de los inducidos fueron cortas y concisas. Además cada una de las generaciones tuvo su programa especial, uno seguido del otro de inmediato.
►Clase 2020 del Salón de la Fama de WWE
El primer inducido fue John «Bradshaw» Layfield (JBL), quien agradeció a The Rock y John Cena por ser sus mejores rivales. Además aseguró que no cambiaría ningún momento de su carrera.

El siguiente fue The British Bulldog, recordado por su alianza con The Dynamite Kid y su lucha con Bret Hart en SummerSlam 1992; así como su unión a The Hart Fundation. Davey Boy Smith Jr. junto a su hermana y su madre fueron los encargados de recibir el reconocimiento.

Jushin «Thunder» Liger agradeció por medio de un mensaje en video, donde se mostró muy contento por el reconocimiento y recordó su paso por WCW y NXT.

La celebridad William Shatner también estuvo vía remota. En su participación agradeció también ser distinguido esta noche y recordó su participación junto a Jerry «The King» Lawler, la cual lo llevó a WWE.

Más adelante, Nikki y Brie Bella recordaron su paso por la división de Divas y como fueron parte de esa revolución. Además aseguraron que el «viaje no ha terminado» dando a entender que podrían volver al ring.

Para cerrar esta generación, apareció The New World Order ( Hulk Hogan, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash y Scott Hall), quienes recordaron el trabajo juntos y como fue que comenzaron a trabajar. Además aseguraron que «Too Sweet» siempre será una marca relacionada con NWO.

En la sección WWE Legacy Hall of Fame, fueron reconocidos Ray «The Crippler» Stevens, Brickhouse Brown, «Dr. Death» Stevie Williams, Baron Michele Leone y Gary Hart.

El encargado de abrir esta ceremonia fue Rob Van Dam (RVD), quien agradeció principalmente a los fans, quienes lo llevaron a ser lo que es. Además agradeció a Sabú y The Sheik, quienes fueron fundamentales en su carrera.

Molly Holly siguió en la lista de homenajeados, quien se limitó a agradecer a todos su compañeros y compañeras a través de los años. Además recordó que pudo superar sus complejos por la altura y salió adelante.

Por medio de videollamada The Great Khali recibió su reconocimiento, y se mostró agradecido por el honor de estar en el Salón junto a grandes figuras.

Se reveló que la celebridad inducida en esta generación es Ozzy Osburne, quien se limitó a agradecer y recordar los momentos en WWE y WCW.

Además, se reconoció a Eric Bischoff quien recordó las «Monday Night Wars». Además de todo su trabajo en la industria, el cual lo ha llevado a este momento.

La noche la cerró Kane, quien posó junto a su clásica máscara que lo acompañó muchos años de su carrera. Aunque destacó toda la carrera que ha tenido donde agradeció principalmente a Paul Bearer y The Undertaker, admitió que fue complicado llevar ese personaje tantos años, pues le privó de muchos eventos, con tal de guardar el misterio.
