Hoy es el día. Hoy es el día de mayor celebración para los aficionados de la lucha libre. Hoy se celebra la trigésimo tercera edición del mayor evento de la WWE del año. Hoy se celebra la siguiente entrega de la Vitrina de los Inmortales, el show de los shows… Hoy se celebra WrestleMania 33.
Muchos frentes se cerrarán esta noche. Otros simplemente añadirán un capítulo más en la guerra entre Superestrellas. Brock Lesnar intentará derrotar a Goldberg, con el premio del Campeonato Universal añadido. Bray Wyatt, por otra parte, buscará retener el Campeonato de la WWE dando una lección a Randy Orton. Bayley defenderá su título ante Charlotte, Sasha Banks y Nia Jax…. AJ Styles vs. Shane Mcmahon; El Enterrador vs Roman Reigns y tantos y tantos combates cuyo objetivo principal es sorprender y encandilar al Universo de la WWE.
Una función similar es la que se le pretende otorgar a la música. En WrestleMania, la empresa de Vince Mcmahon ofrece más temas oficiales que en ningún otro evento en el año. En esta edición, no se ha roto un récord en cuanto a canciones se refiere, pero hay un gran nivel de las mismas. Cuatro canciones han sido elegidas como los temas oficiales de WrestleMania 33.
1- Greenlight — Pitbull, Flo Rida y Lunch Money Lewis
Desde WrestleMania 28, la empresa ha buscado otorgar la primera canción oficial del evento a un artista con cierto renombre. Desde esa edición los nombres se han ido sucediendo: Flo Rida (en dos ocasiones), Kid Rock etc. En esta ocasión, Flo Rida vuelve a repetir, aunque esta vez los focos no se centran en él. Pitbull es el intérprete principal; intérprete que realizará un número en vivo en WrestleMania 33. Tres hombres de Miami, que buscan dar espectáculo quizá no en su ciudad, pero sí en su estado.
Poco hay que decir que no se sepa de estos artistas. Pitbull es un cantante de hip hop, reggaetón y música electrónica proveniente de Miami. Lleva en activo desde 2005, aunque su primer éxito se produciría en 2009 con el tema I Know You Want Me. Desde entonces, una gran lista de temas ha conseguido triunfar, sobre todo colaboraciones. International Love, On The Floor, Feel This Moment, Rain Over Me; con luminarias como Shakira, Marc Anthony, Ke$ha, Jennifer López etc. A pesar de haber aparecido en algún show de RAW, esta es la primera colaboración musical con la WWE.
Flo Rida, por otra parte, es un cantante de rap, proveniente también de Miami. Lleva activo desde 2007, y desde ese momento, no ha hecho más que acumular éxitos. Ha sacado cinco álbumes de estudio, generando millones de ventas alrededor del mundo. El cantante es un gran conocido en la WWE. Wild Ones, Good Feeling, Let It Roll o My House son algunos de los temas que han formado parte de la Historia de la WWE; siendo además el segundo WrestleMania consecutivo en el que colabora, y el tercero a nivel global.
Lunch Money Lewis es el cantante menos conocido, y, aun así, está teniendo mucho reconocimiento recientemente. Es un cantante también de rap y también proviene de Miami. Lleva tan sólo un disco producido por el estudio, cuyo nombre es el mismo que el de la canción que le dio éxito, Bills. Esta es su primera colaboración con la WWE.

2- Like a Champion — Danger Twins
Nos volvemos un poco más rockeros en esta canción. Y es que este tipo de rock está abundando en todo tipo de eventos de la WWE, no solo en WrestleMania. Danger Twins es un grupo de indie rock de corto recorrido. Sacaron su único disco de estudio el año pasado, en 2016; pero eso no ha impedido que muchas canciones hayan aparecido en series como Shameless, Crónicas Vampíricas, etc. Proviene de Nashville, Tennessee.

3- Am I Savage? — Metallica
Y, como no, WrestleMania es un evento perfecto para rendir homenaje a grandes grupos de la historia del rock. Grandes pesos pesados como AC/DC, Avenged Sevenfold o Motorhead han sido ejemplos de esto. Además, estos ejemplos han servido para musicalizar enfrentamientos en los que había una figura clave: Triple H. Este año no es diferente. Para ilustrar ese Triple H vs Seth Rollins, la WWE se ha valido, de nuevo, de uno de los grandes: Metallica.
Hablábamos de que poco se podía decir de Pitbull que no se supiera. De Metallica, aún menos. Metallica es un grupo de trash metal, fundado en Los Ángeles, aunque ahora con base en San Francisco, en 1981. Desde entonces, la banda ha producido 10 discos de estudio, desde el primero, Kill ‘Em All, en 1983, hasta el último, Hardwired… To Self-Destruct, estrenado en noviembre del año pasado. Actualmente cuenta con cuatro miembros: James Hetfield como voz y guitarra rítmica; Kirk Hammett como guitarra líder y coros; Robert Trujillo como bajo eléctrico y coros; y Lars Ulrich como batería y percusionista.
La banda es conocida por la WWE. Metallica ha colaborado con la empresa en dos ocasiones: En No Mercy 2008 con All Nightmare Long, y en Wrestlemania XVIII, precisamente para dar música al enfrentamiento entre Triple H y el Enterrador en la Jaula Infernal, con Shawn Michaels como árbitro invitado.

4- Flame — Tinashe
En último lugar, no puede faltar un tema característico de la división femenil. En este caso, Flame es el ejemplo indicado de unos temas que ya tuvieron luces de cantantes tales como Madonna.
Tinashe es una cantante, actriz, productora y modelo que vive en California. Como cantante, lleva en activo desde 2007. Desde entonces, ha lanzado tres discos de estudio: Aquarius (2014), Nightride (2016) y el próximo, Joyride, que será estrenado este año y que contiene el tema en cuestión. Además, Tinashe ha servido de telonera para artistas como Maroon 5, Katy Perry o Nicki Minaj.
