Los eventos de mayor renombre del fin de semana de WrestleMania han comenzado. Y después del Salón de la Fama, esta noche, NXT ofrece su gran cartel NXT Takeover: Orlando.
Aún quizá no contando con la mejor cartelera de los Takeover posible, este evento tiene unos combates sugerentes. En primer lugar, Shinsuke Nakamura hará efectiva su revancha por el Campeonato NXT frente al “Glorioso”, Bobby Rhode —en lo que tiene cierto sabor a último combate en NXT de Nakamura antes de subir al roster principal.
Por otra parte, Asuka defenderá su Campeonato Femenil NXT frente a su oponente más temible hasta el momento: Ember Moon. Además, los Campeonatos de Parejas NXT estarán en juego en una triple amenaza por eliminación entre los campeones, Authors of Pain, The Revival y #DIY.
Como ya sabemos, la música tiene una importancia clave en el mundo de la WWE. Y este Takeover nos ofrece cuatro nuevos temas para poder analizarlos:
1- ” Loud” — Motionless in White
Comenzamos con unos conocidos para el Universo de la WWE. Motionless in White es un grupo que ya realizó una aportación para la empresa de Vince Mcmahon. Dicha aportación fue Unstoppable, tema oficial de NXT Takeover: Unstoppable, cuyo sonido adjuntamos:

En cuanto a biografía, Motionless in White es una banda de un estilo conocido como metal gótico o metalcore. Fue creada en 2005 y proviene de Scranton, Pennsylvania. Cuenta con cinco miembros: el cantante, Chris “Motionless” Cerulli; el guitarrista, Ricky “Horror” Olson; el bajista, Devin Sola; el guitarrista líder, Ryan Sitkowski; y el batería, Vinny Mauro.
La banda ha realizado cuatro álbumes de estudio: Creatures, Infamous, Reincarnate (en este álbum se encuentra Unstoppable) y Graveyard Shift, que saldrá a la venta este año, y que contiene Loud.
Este tema, conocido también como Loud (Fuck it), permanece fiel al estilo que, no solo tiene el grupo, sino además también al tono que se está pretendiendo dar a los Takeover. Exceptuando un par de ejemplos contrarios, el tono musical adherido a estos especiales ha ido relacionado con el hard rock, cuya variante, este metalcore ha sido añadida en este caso.

2- Shock Me — Baroness
Bajamos ligeramente el tono en esta ocasión. Baroness es un grupo de Sludge Metal, formado en el año 2003 y proveniente de Savannah, Georgia. Cuenta con cuatro miembros: la guitarra principal y voz, John Baizley; el guitarrista, Peter Adams; el batería, Sebastian Thomson; y el bajo y también sintetizador, Nick Jost.
Baroness ha creado cuatro álbumes de estudio: Red Album, Blue Record, Yellow & Green y, en 2015, Purple, álbum en el que se encuentra Shock me, creada ese mismo año. Como dato curioso, cabe destacar que todos los títulos de los álbumes hablan de colores. El motivo es que, para ellos, es su cronología particular. En vez de las letras del alfabeto, ellos usan colores.
Shock Me es una canción con un tono ligeramente más suave en comparación a Loud. Es la primera colaboración del grupo con la WWE. Al igual que en otros Takeover, los temas secundarios tienden a ser más suaves que los principales. A continuación, les adjuntamos la canción y la letra:

3- Are You Coming With Me? — Crown The Empire
Seguimos con Crown The Empire. Este grupo interpreta canciones pertenecientes al género post-hardcore. La banda fue fundada en el año 2010 y proviene de Dallas, Texas. Cuenta con cuatro miembros: Como guitarra rítmica y coros, Brandon Hoover; como bajo y guitarra líder, Hayden Tree; como cantante, teclado, sintetizador y pianista, Andrew “Andy Leo” Velasquez; y como batería, Brent Taddie.
A pesar de ser la banda que se fundó antes de las tres nombradas, tres han sido precisamente los álbumes producidos por Crown The Empire: The Fallout, en 2012; The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways y Retrograde, en 2016, que contiene Are you Coming with me?.
Aunque se rumoreó una posible participación en TLC 2012, lo cierto es que este tema es la primera colaboración de la banda con la WWE. Es un tema que encaja muy bien en el Takeover, porque hay una gran cantidad de temas (como Throne, por ejemplo) cuyo estilo vocal y de coros es similar. 4- Come and Get It — I Prevail
Acabamos este artículo de un modo parecido al que comenzamos: con un estilo algo más duro. I Prevail es un grupo de metalcore formado en el año 2013. Proviene de Southfield, Michigan. Cuenta con cinco miembros: el responsable de los coros vocales limpios, Brian Brukheiser; el responsable de los coros informáticos o coros sucios, Richard “Eric” Vanlerberghe; el guitarrista principal, Steve Menoian; el batería, Lee Runestad; y como guitarrista, Dylan Bowman.
I Prevail ha sacado tan sólo un álbum de estudio, Lifelines, en 2016. En este álbum se encuentra Come And Get It. Aunque lo cierto es que la banda sacó un EP en 2014, donde consiguieron la fama gracias a una cover de la canción de Taylor Swift, Blank Space.
En cuanto a Come and Get It, esta es la primera colaboración de la banda con la WWE. Como ya se mencionaba con Loud, esta canción representa el estilo hardcore que se pretende otorgar a los Takeover. A continuación, les adjuntamos la canción y la letra:
