Teóricamente habría hasta un total de 21 gladiadores en liza, quienes buscarán una oportunidad por el Campeonato Mundial AEW, a consumarse tras un anuncio previo de manera formal sobre algún show.
Sin embargo, ayer unas palabras de Tony Schiavone durante Collision siembran ciertas dudas acerca de dicha tentativa, porque el comentarista dijo que el ganador podrá «canjearla», sugiriendo una dinámica como la de Money in the Bank; véase, en cualquier momento y en cualquier lugar.
Es decir, si «Hangman» Page sale victorioso del Gauntlet, tendría la opción de esperar al final del Swerve Strickland vs. Bryan Danielson y exigir una lucha titular, o incluso convertir ese duelo en Triple Amenaza.
