Dijo el jueves Darby Allin que tenía un plan para el domingo en pos de vengar a su mentor Sting, luego de que The Undisputed Elite, y concretamente Kyle O’Reilly, lesionaran al ex-WCW en el epílogo del último AEW Dynamite. Y ese plan, como adelantó Fightful, sería hacer pagar a O’Reilly por sus actos en Double or Nothing.
Duelo individual que ayer durante Rampage se concretó, cuando Allin amenazó a O’Reilly con interferir en los combates de sus amigos programados para el domingo.
Y el listado de encuentros de Double or Nothing aumentó ayer con otro añadido. Días atrás, reportamos que se esperaba una lucha mixta por equipos, y efectivamente, tales previsiones también quedaron corroboradas, porque Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti y Frankie Kazarian se medirán a Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page y Paige VanZant.
Destacar que se tratará del debut como luchadora de VanZant, luego de firmar contrato con AEW a comienzos del presente año y una carrera dentro de UFC y Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
Mientras, Ruby Soho derrotó a Kris Statlander, por lo que irá contra Britt Baker en la final del torneo femenil de la Owen Hart Foundation.

Tony Khan aseguró no querer que el PPV de mañana sea demasiado largo, pero con 12 combates en el cartel principal y el apunte del propio mandamás de que igualmente tampoco quiere un “Buy-In” muy repleto de acción, parece que Double or Nothing pasará de las cuatro horas.
